The Malaysian AIDS Council (MAC) was established in 1992 to serve as an umbrella organisation to support and coordinate the efforts of non-governmental and other organisations working on HIV/AIDS issues in Malaysia. MAC works in partnership with government agencies, the private sector and international organisations to ensure a committed and effective response to HIV/AIDS issues in Malaysia. - See more at:

Woodseer Consulting was employed to assit in the elaboration of the Strategic Plan 2015-2020 of the MAC. Our role was to assist in the consultative and drafting processes.  We developed a participative and transparent process to create ownership and support both internally with the staff and with external stakeholders. Woodseer was actively involved in the identification and definition of the strategic objectives of the plan.

This project was funded by the Aids Alliance  that was founded in 1993 to support community groups in countries that were most affected by the global AIDS crisis. They offered a vision and a way of working that would put communities at the centre of the response in order to provide effective local solutions.
